Director/Owner of Photography Tours

Alfonso Calero is a professional photographer based in Sydney, Australia. Over the past 20 years, Alfonso has photographed everyone from politicians to artists and everything from exquisite food to amazing landscapes. 

He is multi-lingual and brings his language skills to local and overseas photography tours with his fluency in Spanish, Japanese, English and Filipino.


Director/Owner Photographer Alfonso Calero started Australian Photography Tours in 2008 with the aim of teaching locals and tourists travel photography.


ABOUT Photo Tours

Located in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Tasmania all of my staff and myself deliver regular Saturday afternoon or night photography walks/courses to suit all levels of experience. Private lessons also available for groups or individuals.

Using the outdoor classroom as our learning environment we explore the technical capabilities of your camera to capture some creative ideas.

Choose from a Smartphone (iphone or android) or DSLR/Mirror-Less Camera Course. If you are really keen you can join me, Alfonso on one of my photo tours in Tasmania, The Philippines, Japan, Spain or the Faroe Islands.

Over the last 12 years Ben has photographed people and landscapes for advertising, corporate and editorial clients across Australia – in studio and on location. This is in addition to shooting personal work and exhibiting, which continues to be the motivating force.

Self taught landscape photographer specialising in seascape photography. Most of my photography for the first couple of years was all about water , beaches and sunrise. Over time I expanded as I started travelling and exploring more varied landscapes in New Zealand, Patagonia and Iceland.

She is also a passionate educator and works as a lecturer for the Visual Arts and Creative Industries faculties at Adelaide College of the Arts.

Fremantle, Perth -Peter Zuvela

Peter combines his freelance photographic work with teaching photography part time at his studio at the J Shed. His interests are fine art landscape photography and alternative cityscape art photography. He is also very interested in history and is currently researching and exploring the family’s Croatian heritage through the medium of photography. I love to pass on my passion in Fremantle my hometown.
