Over the last three decades I have embarked on various personal projects that all stem from my other interests aside from photography. Such as Australian history, botanical art, humanitarian or environmental issues to name a few. Here a few I have done over the years.

Crazy Convicts & Free Settlers

An in depth look at actual characters that existed in Sydney in the 1800s. Verging on the side of lunacy and quirkiness, these free settlers and convicts lived in the now historic Rocks area of Sydney. Here is my take on how they may have acted and lived.

Environmental Refugees
Many Filipinos have been displaced from their homes because of natural disasters which have forced them to move to Manila from the provinces. They become street vendors living on the edge of poverty.

The Drowned Forest

Arthurs Lake is located in the central highlands of Tasmania, Australia. The man-made lake has a submerged forest that gives the area an unusual, haunting beauty, especially during the early morning mist or sunset.

While locked down in Sydney during the COVID-19 pandemic, feeling isolated the idea of ice flowers seemed to incapsulate my feeling of waiting to break free but frozen in time.
